Our time in South Dakota is coming to a close. It’s been a good month and a half, but we know it’s time to move on. We head out on Saturday, the 26th, and after a stop in Wisconsin, we will be back in Pennsylvania by (hopefully) the 31st.
We filled our time here with spending time with Brian’s family and our friends. Brian built some bunkbeds for some friends. Last Sunday we had short presentations in both services at our church. This week, we were incredibly thankful to be able to purchase in our Buick for a van! We had begun to think we really needed one, but everything kept falling through. We met with one final dealer this week expecting to be disappointed only to have it work out just perfectly. God is never, ever early, but always right on time! We sign papers tomorrow and will be traveling back across country in an ’06 Ford Freestar. Praise the Lord for providing this for us!! We are looking forward to being back in PA; pray for us as we travel! We’ll be back soon.
You can also be in prayer for my mom’s side of the family. As most of you probably already know from Facebook, my grandfather (mom’s dad) passed away early Sunday morning. He was 91 and we’ve been expecting it for awhile; his health has been progressively detioriating. It was still not something we expected to find out first thing Sunday morning! He is safely with Jesus, though, so we can’t complain. It’s what he wanted for awhile now. But, pray especially for my parents. They just got home from Florida in order to literally repack, turn around, and drive to Kansas. Then next week my dad drives to Quebec City for some teaching he’s going to do. Just please pray for their health and safety! Thanks so much.
