This week’s recap is very short and to the point! Not tons and tons going on here with the new baby. We are trying very hard to get into a good routine/rhythm with the two kids. It’s not as easy as we thought it would be, though it’s not terrible either. Just different. Brian is working every afternoon and occasionally in the mornings he heads out with Elena in tow. Elena is jealous of the baby and can be difficult to handle; since I’m nursing, I really don’t have the ability to take care of Elena all the time, so Brian is the big helper. This week, though, he is planning on doing lots of car repairs here on the campus. Neither van is working and in order to save BCM money, Brian is going to do the repairs himself this week. He’s been drawing up lots of plans for different projects. He’s also been preparing paperwork for Joseph, which is quite the project in and of itself. We head out tomorrow for our meeting with the U.S. Embassy to get Joseph’s paperwork done. We’re praying it goes easier than it did with Elena. At least this time, we know what we’re doing! You would definitely think the Embassy would be more user-friendly, but oh well… such is government, I guess!
This week, all the IBYM kids are doing their second missions trip of the year. They kept changing the destinations, so I am not 100% sure where they are all going, to be honest. They are all headed in different directions and doing different ministries for the week and they are heading out today. Be in lots of prayer for these trips! Lots of bus rides, lots of events, and hopefully lots of people to be reached with the Gospel!
We just emailed out our monthly (or.. close to monthly!) newsletter. If you are still not on our list, please let us know! We’d love to add you. Have a wonderful week!
