We wanted to be sure to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, albeit a few days late! We have had a horribly busy December, making time fly much faster than we’d planned on. We had a wonderful Christmas celebration with Lisa’s family. Lisa’s brother and sister and their families were here. We had a great time with our niece, Charlotte. She’s 10 1/2 months old now and just a blast. Here’s a picture of the two cousins together —
As you can see, Elena had started to tip and Charlotte was busy trying to help Elena get that stubborn bow off her head since she was so good at getting hers off a little earlier in the evening. The next time these girls get together, they’ll both be 2 and able to somewhat play together!
With Christmas over now, we are making plans for heading out west. We’ll be leaving early next week, the first week of January, and taking our time to get out there. No use in pushing ourselves and making the trip miserable for Elena. We plan on being in South Dakota for almost the entire month of January, so if you’d like to see us, meet with us, have us speak at your small group, or feed Brian steak 😉 let us know!
We wish you all a Happy New Year (since we’re not too late for THAT!) and we look forward to seeing all our cousins, friends, and family on our road trip in January!
