The fastness that is June.

Another week is half over. I can hardly believe I actually have time to write another blog entry! My English class for today was canceled, so I don’t have much to do until 5 when my Spanish tutor comes in. I’m supervising two English classes for the little girls at the moment and since I don’t necessarily have to do much, I thought I’d write on here.

This week has turned out to be INCREDIBLY busy, especially for Brian. He knew it would be long, so at least he was prepared for it. The men are working on our house and the new dorm/bathroom area and it’s just SO MUCH WORK in such a short amount of time. Brian was gone basically all day yesterday buying supplies for both projects. Both trips were in two very separate directions and he didn’t get home til almost 11 last night. This afternoon, he’s been out purchasing our mattress and our counter top (a formica countertop), both of which should be delivered tomorrow. Yay! Some friends of ours have graciously given us their bed as a housewarming gift, so we don’t have to worry about that. That will be delivered Friday, along with a couch someone else has given us. Hopefully, most of the rest of the siding will be finished within another day or so and our doors (at least a bathroom door!) should be done…soon?? I pray.

So, here’s what our house currently looks like:

And here is what my kitchen currently looks like:

And my finished stairs:

Keep praying we make it through the weekend! Pray we’re prepared for visitors on Sunday, both in our house and the new dorm addition.
You can also be praying for our transportation issue. BCM Peru owns three buses, but none of them are currently functioning. We desperately need at least 2 by the weekend in order to take two different teams to two different ministries in two different cities. We’re totally not sure how this is going to happen, especially since we lack most of the funds to actually fix teh buses! We also need buses in order to drive around the girls from LBC the next couple of weeks so they can see and participate in as much as possible. Please pray for a miracle! We just don’t know how God is going to do this one…
