Where are you?

- We are about 45min outside of Lima, Peru, in a district called Pachacamac.
- We live at BCM Peru’s Instituto de Biblico Y Ministerial (IBYM) – Institute of Bible and Ministry.
- We built our own house on the campus in 2009, shortly after arriving for our first term here.
What do you do?
- Brian: is the head of maintenance for BCM Peru. This includes our properties in Lima as well as Iquitos and eventually in the other cities we expand to as well (currently property is not owned in the other city we’re working in). He does anything and everything from unplugging toilets and fixing light bulbs to drawing up plans for new building projects to being in charge of the students for their work hours.
- Lisa: is the teacher for the English MK school here on campus. She currently teaches 5 Peruvian MK children all their classes, in English. Her students are anywhere from preschool to 9th grade, with varied levels of English ability. Lisa also does writing for other ministries, including Pennies for Peru, camps, and some of the dramas done in the Bible school.
- Elena: has the big job of GROWING! Elena is our only daughter, born here in Peru September 29, 2010. She goes to class with Lisa in the mornings and then has a Bible school student babysitter in the afternoons.
- BCM Peru has a wide range of ministries – Bible school, street ministry, Bible clubs, church planting, evangelistic outreaches, etc. This is a great place to come for missions trips – there is always a lot to do! Please contact us if you’re interested in visiting! We are currently looking for two people to join US in our ministries. Interested? Know someone who is? Let us know!

Dear Lisa,
I read your article in BCM International. Good Job!! I just wondered where you lived while in Pa. You see our church is coming to Peru this July. Do you know anyone from Pine Grove Church in Bowmansville, Pa? I look forward to hearing from you.

Good for you for going to Peru! My wife and I landed in Lima in 2003 and flew to Cusco, where we lived as missionaries for 2 1/2 years. I sure know that feeling of wondering what we had gotten ourselves into when we arrived at the airport. Glory to God! He is faithful and wonderful.
Thanks for the encouragement, Andy! God surely is faithful.
