Brief Autobiographies

We are Brian and Lisa Biegert – missionaries with Bible Centered Ministries International (BCM) in Peru! We arrived on March 3, 2009.

We are both graduates of New Tribes Bible Institute in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with Associates in Biblical Studies. We have felt the Lord calling us into ministry since before we were married in 2005. BCM International is a perfect fit for us since their goal is to “Reach Children and Plant Churches Worldwide.” Our heart is to reach children with the Gospel with of Jesus Christ and to better prepare those who work with children on a regular basis.

 

We will live at the “Instituto de Biblico Y Ministerial” (the Institue of Bible and Ministry) in a town called Picapiedra, outside of Lima. Brian is training to be the head of maintenance and Lisa is homeschooling, in English, Peruvian MK’s. We will also involved in children’s outreaches, the camping ministry, and the new ministry being developed in the jungle city of Iquitos. We attended the Center for Intercultural Training from February to April, 2008, to better prepare us for life in Peru. You can click on the blog entries under the title “CIT” and read through some of our learning experiences during these nine weeks.
